Situated in beautiful Scott Valley, 30 minutes from Interstate 5 and halfway between Portland and San Francisco, Cloud Rim Ranch is the perfect escape from the stress of city life. Nestled in the Marble Mountains of northern California this ranch is located in the historic gold country of Siskiyou County within minutes of all the amenities in the small valley towns of Etna and Fort Jones.
Cloud Rim boasts over 1200 acres of farmland, pasture, hillsides, and residential acreage. Chapparall Hill creates the eastern boundary of the ranch where Ponderosa pines and oaks cover the hillside and provide a private riding and deer hunting range.
At the base of the hill there are 300 acres of productive hay fields and 400 acres of cattle pasture. Everything needed for a full working cattle and hay ranch is on site. There are three homes on the ranch including the main ranch house with its own tack room and corrals, separate office, swimming pool, hot tub and one bedroom guest house.
Plenty of winter recreation is available at nearby Mt Ashland and Mt Shasta, while summer fishing and hiking activities abound in the scenic Marble Mountain wilderness. Whitewater challenges are available on the Scott and Salmon Rivers, and boating and skiing opportunities beckon from Lakes Shasta and Trinity.
